In Hebrew the meaning of the name Matea is: God's gift.

My name is Matea Manri, I'm an artist from Latvia and create my works in stippling techniques. Using colored pens, all works of art are created from thousands, even millions of small dots, which combine in different colors to create a realistic image. Artworks are created with paying attention to the smallest details, thus creating the my special style in bright color schemes. Artworks help the viewer to realize that everything in this world consists of small microparticles, but together they form the big picture, also called the life.

The time and patience required for every fine work is not measurable in the classical sense. It is like a meditative flight, it is like a therapy for an excited mind. To make the art more accessible for everyone, I transform my artworks to digital format and offer to print them in the preferred size and shape. I'm also open to create commissioned works.
